CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. f] - Gc �
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF A SUBDIVISION
IMPROVEMENT BOND GIVEN BY TAMARAC UTILITIES. INC.
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Ordinance 71-23 a Subdivision
Improvement Bond was posted by Tamarac Utilities, Inc., covering
1.0 MGD GROUND WATER STORAGE TANK LOCATED AT GRANT'S PLAZA; and
WHEREAS, a Subdivision Improvement Bond, in the original
principal amount of $193,750.00 was executed by Tamarac Utilities,
Inc., a Wholly owned subsidiary of Leadership Housing, Inc., as
principals, and Argonaut Insurance Company of California, as surety,
and
WHEREAS, Tamarac UTILITIES, Inc. has executed an Affidavit
and Certification as to the actual construction costs of said project
and has undertaken to submit a subsitute Warranty Bond in the amount
of $ 44,531.00 representing 25% of the actual cost as set
forth in said Affidavit and Certification, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the project and re-
commended release of the Bond and formal acceptance of the improve-
ments by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA.
SECTION l: Upon receipt of the substitute bond in the amount of
$ 44,531 the bond herein before referred to of $193,750.00
will be releasedd.
