CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.1 'Z f � L t
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSISTANT
PUBLIC DEFENDER.
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court of the United States
has recently declared that every Defendant has the right
to be represented by Counsel in any case in which a jail
sentence is possible, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF
TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION
1 ; That

an attorney practicing in Broward County, Florida is hereby
appointed Assistant City Public Defender to serve at the
pleasure of the City Council.
SECTION 2: That the Assistant City Public Defender
shall receive compensation at the rate of $50.00 for each
Court Session at which his attendance is required.
