CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA

A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMTNG THE
PERIOD FEBRUARY 14 - 21, 1976
TO BE OFFICIALLY DECLARED AS
TAMARAC BI-CENTENNIAL WEEK;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida, is desirous of observing the Nation's
Bi-Centennial Year ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida, deems it fit and appropriate, in
that regard, to designate February 14 - 21, 1976 as
Tamarac Bi-Centennial Week.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the week of February 14th
through 21st, 1976 is officially proclaimed as Tamarac
Bi-Centennial Week. The citizens of the City of Tamarac,
Florida are encouraged to participate in the Bi-Centennial
activities in observance of our Nation's Bi-Centennial
Year.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida, officially declares its observance of
Tamarac Bi-Centennial Week and acknowledges its observance
of the sacrifices and contributions made by the founders
of this great nation and would strongly urge a rededica-
tion by all citizens of those principles upon which the
United States of America was established.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day
