CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. i --
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM IN
THE CITY OF TAMARAC; PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF A
PUBLIC LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD AND APPOINTMENT OF MEM-
BERS THERETO.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deems it
in the best interest and welfare of the citizens of Tamarac to
establish a Public Library System; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to create a Public Library
Advisory Board and appoint members thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby establishes a
Public Library System for the City of Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby creates a Public
Library Advisory Board consisting of eleven (.11) members and two
(2) ex-o.f.ficio members to be appointed by the City Council and to
serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
SECTION 3: The following individuals are hereby appointed
as members to the Public Library Advisory Board:
Eleanor Issacs
Ronnie Schram
Winfred L. Ostrom
Mary Lawson
George J. Golub
Mildred Fenischel.
Helen Londer
Laura Steinberg
Barry S. Eden
Jo Ann Boggus
Helen Etken
Evan Cross (ex-officio)
Morris Glicksman (ex-officio)
