RESOLUTION NO. b
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION REFERENDUM ON AMENDMENT
TO THE CHARTFR OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC
WHEREAS, a general election was held on March 4, 1975
for the purpose of a referendum on Amendments to the Charter of
the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted the results of
the Votomatic voting and absentee ballots as certified by the
Election Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section
166.031, the following amendment is declared to have failed:
"SECTION 84 of ARTICLE XII of the Charter of the City of
Tamarac is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 84. CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES AND CHARTER
Each year the Council shall arrange for a codifi-
cation or compilation of all ordinances of general, public
or permanent nature, or ordinances whi.ch impose a fine,
penalty or forteiture. 'uc comps anon or co ification
shall be placed on file with the Clerk, shall be made
available for the use of the public and shall be made
available for purchase at a reasonable price. _Every--

within one year of the effective date of this
Section the Council shall arrange for the publication in
permanent form of the Charter of the City of Tamarac and
each year thereafter said publication shall be amended
or republished if necessary to show an amendment. Such
publication shall be placed on file with the Clerk, shall
be made available for use of the public and shall be made-,--
