CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA

A RESOLUTION NAMING AND RATIFYING
CERTAIN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, IN-
CLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BANKS AND
FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATIONS
AS DEPOSITORIES FOR CITY FUNDS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 99 OF THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC; PRO-
VIDING AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY
MANAGER TO DEPOSIT AND TRANSFER FUNDS
TO SUCH ACCOUNTS AS HE MAY ESTABLISH
IN SUCH DEPOSITORIES; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, certain financial institutions have established
principal and branch offices within the City of Tamarac, Florida,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac has
been advised that it would be in the best interests of the citizenry
of the City of Tamarac to provide for multiple depositories for City
funds, pursuant to Section 99 of the Charter of the City of Tamarac,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac wishes
to take advantage of the good business of the financial institutions
located within the City of Tamarac and wishes to authorize the City
Manager to transfer and deposit funds in any one or all of said
depositories, as he deems advisable,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following financial institutions be
and the same are hereby designated as official City Depositories
in accordance with Section 99 of the Charter of the City of Tamarac
and the laws of the State of Florida, irrespective of the fact that
said financial insitution is located within the boundaries of the
City of Tamarac or without the boundaries of the City of Tamarac:

SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to open
such accounts in said named depositories as he deems necessary,
and expedient and in the best interest of the citizenry of the
City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: The City Manager, or his delegate, is hereby
authorized and directed to supply certified copies of this
Resolution to each of the depositories named herein at such
time as an initial account is opened with said depository or
any one of them and at such time as said financial institution
may request same.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall
upon its passage.
