CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION FINALLY AWARDING $630,000.00
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA, FIXING THE MATURITY
THEREOF AND RESCINDING PRIOR RESOLUTION
OF AWARD.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, Florida, (hereinafter
called the City) has heretofore authorized the issuance of
$650,000.00 general obligation bonds (hereinafter called bonds)
to finance the cost of acquiring a building for use as a City
Hall; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable and in
the best interest of the City that $630,000.00 principal amount
of said bond be sold at this time; and
WHEREAS, the Bank of Tamarac, Tamarac, Florida, has
offered to purchase said bond at the price of par plus accrued
interest to the date of delivery, said bond to bear interest at
the rate of six (6) percentum per annum; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best financial interest
of the City to accept the proposal of said Bank of Tamarac,
Tamarac, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That $630,000.00 principal amount of gen-
eral obligation bond of the City, dated July 1, 1975, bearing
interest, payable semiannually on January 1 and July 1 of each
year, at the rate of six (6) percentum per annum callable as
provided in the Resolution authorizing the issuance thereof,
be and the same are hereby awarded and sold to the Bank of
Tamarac, Tamarac, Florida, at the price of the par value there-
of plus accrued interest to the date of delivery thereof. Said
$630,000.00 bonds shall mature serially in numerical order, on

July 1 of each year in the principal amount of $65,000.00
in each of the years 1981 to 1989, inclusive, and $45,000.00
in the year 1990.
SECTION 2: That the remaining $20,000.00 principal
amount of said bond be and it is cancelled.
SECTION 3: That the proper officers of the City be
and they are hereby authorized to execute said bonds and to do
and perfom any and all things for the purpose of effectuating
delivery of said bonds to said purchase.
SECTION 4: That the Resolution adopted on MAV !S /W4-
7S =<i 1975, awarding the $650,000.00 bonds, be and the
same is hereby rescinded and cancelled.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall take effect immed-W
iately.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of
1975.
