CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. �/
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF
SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT BONDS GIVEN BY
INLAND SEALCOATING, INC.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Code, Subdivision
Improvement Bond #1423, in the amount of $2,000 for median cuts
on Lagos DeCampo Boulevard at the entrances of Cannongate and
Colony Club Apartments, and Subdivision Improvement Bond #113-824
in the amount of $11,220 for street cuts and median crossings
for irrigation improvements within Section #10 of the City of
Tamarac, were executed by Inland Sealcoating, Inc. of Oakland
Park, Florida, and the American Fire and Casualty Company, as
surety, and posted with the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, Inland Sealcoating, Inc., has executed an Affidavit
and Certification as to the actual construction costs of each
of these projects, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the projects, and
has recommended release of both bonds, and the formal. acceptance
of such improvements by the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolutions #76-8 and #76-9,
authorized the release of bonds to Inland Sealcoating, Inc., in
the amount of $2,400 for improvements in Sunset Isle, and $4,875
for improvements in Faircrest #14, respectively; both releases
to be subject to receipt by the City, of a Substitute Warranty
Bond from Inland Sealcoating, Inc., and
WHEREAS, Inland Sealcoating, Inc. has submitted to the
City a Substitute Warranty Bond, in the amount of $4,958.25,
covering all four projects and representing 25% of the total
actual costs, as set forth in the individual. Affidavit and
Certification'for each of the four projects referred to herein, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed and approved as to
form, the Substitute Warranty Bond in the amount of $4,958.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 01' THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the Surety Bond for median cuts on
Lagos DeCampo Boulevard, in the amount of $2,000, is hereby
released..
SECTION 2: That the Surety Bond for improvements
in Section #10 of the City of Tamarac, in the amount of $11,220,
is hereby released.
SECTION 3: That the Substitute Warranty Bond, in the
amount of $4,958.25, is hereby formally accepted.
SECTION 4: That the condition of Resolutions #76-8 and
#76-9, requiring a submission of the Substitute Warranty Bond,
is hereby met.
