CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 7
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR SPECIFIC
PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore advertised for bids for
Public Works equipment, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received bids for same and is
desirous of awarding the bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of

Bidder hereby agrees that base price shall remain in full force and effect for
a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening of this bid and that the
bidder will not revolve or cancel this bid within the sixty (60) days.
In the event the contract is awarded to this bidder, he will enter a formal written
A recment with the City, in accordance with the accepted bid within ten (10) calendar
days after said contract is submitted to him and will furnish to the City a Contract
Performance and Payment Bond with good and sufficient sureties, satisfactory to the
City, in the amount of 100o of the accepted bid, the form and terms of which shall
fully comply with Section 255.05, Florida Statutes. The Bidder agrees that in the
event of the Bidder's default or breach of any of the agreements of this bid, the
said bid deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
All work shall be guaranteed by the bidder against defects resulting from the use
of materials, equipment or worlm-unship for one year from the date lction
of the contract. of final cor
If, within any given period, repairs or changes are required in connection with the
guarantee work, which in the opinion of the City is rendered necessary as the result
of the materials supplied which are defective, or inferior, or not in accordance
with the terms of the Contract, the Bidder shall, promptly upon receipt of notice
from the City and without expense to the City, proceed to_Place in satisfactory
condition in every particular all of such guaranteed work, correct all defects therein.
