CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. iQ- 2,3
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF
A SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT BOND POSTED BY
CORAL GABLES FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Code a Subdivision Improvement
Bond was posted by Coral. Gables Federal Savings and Loan, covering
subdivision improvements at their Colony West Office, and
WHEREAS, the subdivision improvement bond was posted in the
original principal amount of $5,000., cash remittance, and
WIIEREAS, the Coral Gables Federal Savings and Loan has executed
an Affidavit and Certification as to the actual. construction costs of
said project and has submitted to the City a substitute Warranty Bond
in the amount of $1,000.00, representing 257o of the actual cost as set
forth in said Affidavit and Certification, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the project and has re-
commended release of the Bond and formal acceptance of the improvements
by the City,and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed and approved as to form
the substitute Warranty Bond in the amount of $1,000.00.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01'
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the cash bond for subdivision improvements in
the amount of $5,000.00 is hereby released.
SECTION 2: That the substitute Warranty Bond in the amount of
$1,000.00 is hereby formally accepted.
