CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. --Z,
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR MAYOR AND
CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the General Election was held on March 9th, 1976,
wherein the Electorate of the City of Tamarac was to choose
one (1) candidate for the Office of Mayor, one (1) candidate for
the Office of Council Representative from District I, one (1)
candidate for the Office of Council Representative from
District II, and one (1) candidate for the Office of Council
Representative from District IV, and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and the absentee ballots, and has
certified such results to the Election Board of the City of Tamarac,
and
WHEREAS, the Election Board has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board, and has presented their findings
to the City Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of
the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following person is hereby certified
to have received the highest number of votes, and is hereby
declared to have been elected as Mayor, �fporra term of two (2) years.
SECTION 2: That the following person is hereby certified
to have received the highest number of votes, and is hereby
declared to have been elected as Council Representative from
District I, for the unexpired term of one (1) year.
SECTION 3: That the following person is hereby certified
to have received the highest number of votes, and is hereby
declared to have been elected as Council Representative from
District II, for a term of two (2) year.

SECTION 4: That the following person is hereby certified
to have received the highest number of votes, and is hereby
declared to have been elected as Council Representative from
District IV, for a term of two (2) years.
SECTION 5: That
