CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. (a
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR THE CHARTER
BOARD.
WHEREAS, the General Election was held on March 9th, 1976,
wherein the Electorate of the City of Tamarac was to choose
two (2) candidates for the Charter Board, for the City of Tamarac,
and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and the absentee ballots, and has
certified such results to the Election Board of the City of
Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the Election Board has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board, and has presented their findings
to the City Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of
the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the following two (2) persons are hereby
certified to have received the highest number of votes, and are
hereby declared to have been elected to the Charter Board, for
terms of two (2) years each.
SECTION 2: That and

with the provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance #76-8.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of March, 1976.
