CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. � 7Z 7
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR THE ELECTION
BOARD.
WHEREAS, the five seats on the Election Board were to
be filled at the general election held on March 9, 1976, and
WHEREAS, one individual, Day Schaff, was the only
person to file her candidacy for the Election Board, and
WHEREAS, the name of Day Schaff appeared on the general
election ballot as a candidate for the Election Board, and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
.results of the machine voting and the absentee ballots, and
has certified such results to the Election Board of the City
of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the Election Board has reviewed the certifi-
cation from the County Canvassing Board, and has presented their
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TIDE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Day Schaff is hereby certified and
declared to have been elected to the Election Board for a
term of ��� G �
SECTION 2: That Day Schaff shall take office in accordance
with the provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance #76-8.
