CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO L ��Z
A RESOLUTION DECLARING TIIE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION VOTING ON AMENDMENTS TO
THE CITY CHARTER PROPOSED BY THE CHARTER
BOARD.
WHEREAS, a general election was held on March 9, 1976,
Temp. #498
wherein the electorate was asked to vote on amendments to the
Charter of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has
certified such results to the Election Board of the City of
Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the Election Board has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board and has presented their
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following amendments are hereby
Certified and Declared to have passed:

SECTION 2: That having received approval of a majority
of the voters voting on these amendments, the amendments now
become a part of the existing City Charter of the City of Tamarac,
as adopted at a referendum election held on May 18, 1971, and
as stbsequent l y amended.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED TIIIS_day of 1976.
