CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 76 - 42
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCIL TO
APPOINT TWO MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT AND TO APPOINT TWO ALTERNATE
MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, FRED P. HUESNER and WILLIAM H. CURRAN have resigned
as members of the Board of Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of filling said
vacancies, and
WHEREAS, the City Council considers John Leone and Edward
H. Rockwell, Jr. to be fully qualified for positions on the
Board of Adjustment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appoint two alternate
members to the Board of Adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC , FLORI DA :
SECTION 1: That John Leone is hereby appointed a member
of the Board of Adjustment for a term to expire July 17, 1977.
SECTION 2: That Edward H. Rockwell, Jr. is hereby appointed
as a member to the Board of Adjustment to expire July 17, 1977.
SECTION 3: That the alternate members designated by the
Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Tamarac shall
serve for a period of two years, and in the absence or inability of
any regular member of the said Board of Adjustment to serve, said
alternate shall thereupon serve in the place of said regular
member, with all the powers and duties as are vested in said
regular member.
SECTION 4: That James J. Kane, Jr., and Philip L. Greene
are hereby appointed as alternate members of the Board of Adjustment
of the City of Tamarac.

SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
