CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR SPECIFIC FIRE
FIGHTING EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore advertised for bids
for fire fighting equipment, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received bids for same
and is desirous of awarding the bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of. BISCAYNE FIRE EQUIPMENT CO.
for Items A thru H, more particularly described as being:
a. 20 - 50 ft. length of 21inch fire hose
b. 10 - 50 ft. length of finch fire hose

Bidder hereby agrees that base price shall remain in full force and
effect for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening
of this bid and that the bidder will not revoke or cancel this bid
within the sixty (60) days.
In the event the contract is awarded to this bidder, he will enter
into a formal written Agreement with the City, in accordance with
the accepted bid within ten (10) calendar days after said contract
is submitted to him and will furnish to the City a Contract Perfor-
mance and Payment Bond with good and sufficient sureties, satisfactory
to the City, in the amount of 1007o of the accepted bid, the form
and terms of which shall fully comply with Section 255.05, Florida
Statutes. The Bidder agrees that in the event of the Bidder's
default or breach of any of the agreements of this bid, the said
bid deposit sah11 be forfeited as liquidated damages.
All work shall be guaranteed by the bidder against defects resulting
from the use of materials, equipment or workmansjip for one year from
the date of final completion of the contract.

in connection with the guarantee work, which in the opinion of the
City is rendered necessary as the result of the materials supplied
which are defective, or inferior, or not in accordance with
the terms of the Contract, the bidder shall, promptly upon receipt
of notice from the City and without expense to the City, proceed
to: Place in satisfactory condition in every particular all of such
guaranteed work, correct all defects therein.
Bidder to state any additional work, changes, or variations to the
City's specifications, terms and conditions.
