CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. ~76 --T R
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCIL TO
APPOINT SEVEN REGULAR MEMBERS TO THE BOARD
OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND TO APPOINT FIVE
ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF CONSUMER
AFFAIRS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, City Council is desirous of appointing
seven (7) members to the Board of Consumer Affairs, and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to appoint four (4)
alternate members to the Board of Consumer affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That ROBERT SHURR is hereby appointed a
member of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire
May 11, 1977.
SECTION 2:
That NAT COHEN is hereby appointed a
member of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire
May 11, 1977.
SECTION 3: That HERBERT R. HARRIS is hereby appointed
a member of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire
May 11, 1977.
SECTION 4: That HAROLD KOTLER is hereby appointed
a member of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire
May 11, 1977.
SECTION 5: That AMY LEM,, is hereby appointed a member
of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire May 11,
1977.
SECTION 6: That HERMAN MARIN is hereby appointed
a member of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire
May 11, 1977.
SECTION 7:
That MURRAY SCHWARTZMAN is hereby appointed
a member of the Board of Consumer Affairs for a term to expire
May 11, 1977.
SECTION 8: That the alternate members designated
by the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of
Tamarac shall serve for a period -of one (1) year until May
11, 1977 and in the absence or inability of any regular member
of the said Board of Consumer Affairs to serve, said alternate
shall thereupon serve in the place of said regular member,
with all the powers and duties as are vested in said regular
member.
SECTION 9: That MARY DiCANDIA, IRVING EPSTEIN,
PETER LAWSON and SAMUEL ,7. SAPOSNICK are hereby appointed as
alternate members of the Board of Consumer Affairs of the
City of Tamarac.
SECTION 10: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
