WHEREAS, the City has heretofore advertised for bids for GARBAGE AND TRASH collection in residential areas and condominiums, and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of awarding the bid for GARBAGE AND TRASH collection in residential areas and condominiums to the lowest and best bidder or bidders. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION l: That the bid of All Service Refuse Company Name for GARBAGE AND TRASH collection in residential areas for a one (1)year contract, in the amount of $ 3.25 per month, is hereby approved and a copy of such is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. SECTION 2: That the bid of County Waste Name for GARBAGE AND TRASH collections for condominiums for a one (1) year contract, in the amount of $ 1.95 per month, is hereby approved and a copy of such is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. Weinberger AYE Para ]_ - RESIDENTIAL Bid #01-76 City Manager BID PROPOSAL The City of Tamarac is inviting sealed bids for garbage and trash collection to be picked up twice weekly in two (2) twenty gallon containers from single family, du lex, triplex and town house areas (R-1, R-IB, R-2, R--3, R-3U Zones). See attached sheet for additional condit'on Signature ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS TO BID FOR PART l - RESIDENTIAL This bidder proposes that as a result of the bid requirement to dispose of garbage and trash in disposal facilities located outside the municipal limits of the City of Tamarac, wherein the rate charged to this bidder may be increased from time to time without advance notice, which disposal fee, together with the other costs of operation, control the rate that we must charge the City, that the rate or cost proposed in Item #2 is subject to being increased in direct proportion to our increase in cost of operation, but not to exceed a maximum of 5% of the quoted cost, i.e. $0.1625; and further, for said reason, that the rate proposed in Item #3 is subject to being increased in direct proportion to our increase in cost of operation, but not exceed a maximum of 10% of the quoted cost, i.e. $0.325.
