CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION #_2, - /_
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION TO BE
SUBMITTED 7O THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF COMMERCE, EODNOMIC EEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRA-
TION FOR A GRANT UNDER THE LOCAL PUBLIC WORKS
ACT.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended to the City Council
that the City of Tamarac submit an application to the Lhited States
Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration for a grant
under the Local Public Works Act, and
WHEREAS, an advertised Public Hearing has been held to obtain input
from members of the public regarding the application and projects proposed
to be funded, and
WHEREAS, the Council is now desirous of approving the application for
each of the proposed projects recommended by the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby approves the application
by the City to the United States Department of Commerce, Yconomic Development
Administration for a grant under the Local Public Works Act to fund the
following projects:
Fire Station
Sewer Inspection/Improvement Project
Pedestrian Overpass
Safety Sidewalks
Site unrk at Municipal Public Works Facilities
