CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REDUCTION
OF A SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT BOND GIVEN
BY VIKING GENERAL CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Code, a Subdivision
Improvement Bond in the amount of $30,000.00, was executed by
Viking General Corporation, as principal, and American Fidelity
Fire Insurance Company of Miami, Florida, as surety, and posted
with the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, Viking General Corporation has submitted an
Affidavit and Certification as to the actual cost of said project,
and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has accepted the project and
has recommended reduction of said Bond to $6,212.50, and formal
acceptance of such improvements by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Subdivision Improvement Bond
for Viking General Corporation, in the amount of $30,000.00, is
hereby approved for reduction to $6,212.50, being 25% of the
actual cost of said project.
SECTION 2: That the reduction in the bond provided
herein is subject to the payment of fees in the amount of $34,
to the City of Tamarac and the restoration of Woodlands Boulevard
at Structure #2.
