CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 176 -- /41'I
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A "201" FACILITIES
PLAN IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE WASTEWATER
COLLECTION, TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM
WITHIN BROWARD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, the
Municipalities, the Special Districts, and investor -owned
utilities have undertaken a commitment to improve the waste-
water collection, treatment and disposal system within Broward
County; and
WHEREAS, a Facilities Plan has been prepared by
James M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineers, Inc. pursuant to
P.L. 92-500 (Water Pollution Control Act, Amendments of 1972)
and submitted to the City Council of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, said Facilities Plan containing plans
and recommendations for facilities necessary for meeting the
Broward County needs for wastewater collection, treatment and
disposal has been presented to and reviewed by the City Council
of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, members of the City Council of Tamarac
support the recommendations contained in said Wastewater Facilities
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The 11201" Facilities Plan submitted
to the City of Tamarac be and is hereby accepted and adopted.
