CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. r 6- I t5_0
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING SATURDAY,
NOVEMBER 13, 1976 AS LIONS WHITE CANE
DAY IN THE CITY OF TAMARAC;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is aware of the many contributions made by The International
Association of Lions Clubs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is desirous of proclaiming Saturday, November 13, 1976 as
"Lions White Cane Day".
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida supports execution of a Mayoral Proclamation to
designate Saturday, November 13, 1976 as "Lions White Cane Day"
in Tamarac.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
