CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 9
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF MARY LAWRENCE
FROM THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR APPOINT-
MENT TO FILL VACANCY,CREATED BY SAID RESIGNATION; PROVIDING
FOR APPOINTMENT.)F AN ALTERNATE; AND 'PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, a vacancy has been created on the Beautification
Committee by the resignation of Mary Lawrence; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted said resignation with
regret; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to fill said vacancy by
appointment of an alternate member to a permanent position; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint an additional
alternate member.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the resignation of Mary Lawrence from the
Beautification Committee be accepted with regret.
SECTION 2: That DELLA CARDAMON be and she is hereby appointed
as a member of the Beautification Committee for a period of one (1)
year with all the duties and privileges thereof.
SECTION 3: That SALLY RUBENFELD be and she is hereby appointed
as an alternate member of the Beautification Committee for a period
of one (1) year with all the duties and privileges thereof.
SECTION 4: That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
