CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. f%
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF SUB-
DIVISION IMPROVEMENT BONDS GIVEN BY INLAND
SEALCOATING, INC. FOR MAINIANDS 8 AND FAIRHAVEIV
#11 IRRIGATION IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, a Bond in the amount of $5,950.00 for Mainlands #8 streetcuts
for Irrigation Improvements, and Bond #122-578 in the amount of $3,500.00 for
Fairhaven #11 streetcuts for Irrigation Improvements, were executed by Inland
Sealcoating, Inc. of Oakland Park, Florida, and the American Fire and Casualty
Company, as surety, and posted with the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, Inland Sealcoating, Inc., has executed an Affidavit and
Certification as to the actual construction costs of each of these projects,
and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the projects, and has
recommended release of both bonds, and the formal acceptance of such improvements
by the City, and
WHEREAS, Inland Sealcoating, Inc. has submitted to the City a Subdivision
Improvement Warranty Bond, in the amount of $2,487.50, covering both projects
and representing 257o of the total actual costs, as set forth in the individual
Affidavit and Certification for each of the projects referred to herein, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to release the original bonds and
accept the Subdivision Improvement Warranty Bond, in lieu thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Bond for Mainlands 8 streetcuts for Irrigation
Improvements, in the amount of $5,950.00, is hereby released, and the improve-
ments covered thereunder are hereby accepted.
SECTION 2: That the Bond #122-578 Fairhaven 11 streetcuts for Irrigation
Improvements, in the amount of $3,500.00, is hereby released, and the improve-
ments covered thereunder are hereby accepted.
SECTION 3: That the Substitute Warranty Bond for both projects in the
amount of $2,487.50, is hereby formally accepted.
