CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 7 � " Il9
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PROPOSALS FOR ANNEXATION
SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TAMARAC BY THE COUNTY
ADMINISTRATOR; RECOMMENDING TBE INCLUSION OF TWO
ADDITIONAL PARCELS, AND ENCOURAGING TILE BROWARD
COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION TO ACT FAVORABLY ON THE
ANNEXATION PROPOSALS.
WHEREAS, the County Administrator has presented to the City of
Tamarac a proposal for the annexation into the City, of five tracts of land,
as indicated on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such proposal and wishes
to support the recommendations contained therein, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, in reviewing the County Administrator's
annexation proposal, has made further recommendations to the County Administrator,
for the annexation of two additional tracts of land, which are likewise indicated
on the map attached hereto, as Exhibit "A', and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the potential results of
the proposed annexation and deems such action to be in the best interests of
the people residing in the areas to be annexed, and the people of the City of
Tamarac, and
WHEREAS the annexation proposed by the County and endorsed by the
City of Tamarac, will in turn be submitted to the Broward County Legislative
Delegation, and the City Council wishes to encourage the Legislative Delegation
to support the annexation proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac does hereby
approve and endorse the recoamendation of the County Administrator for the annexa-
tion of five tracts of land, which are indicated on the map attached hereto, as
Exhibit "A".
SECTICN 2: That the City Council hereby recommends to the Couuity
Administrator, the inclusion of two additional tracts of land to the overall
annexation proposal for the City of Tamarac, which locations are likewise indicated
on the map attached hereto, as Exhibit "A".

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac considers
such annexation to be in the best interests of the people residing in the areas
to be annexed and the people of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 4: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac does hereby
encourage the Broward County Legislative Delegation to receive and act favorably
on the proposed annexations to the City of Tamarac, as reflected in Exhibit "A".
