A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF MARSHALL
BERWICK CHEVROLET, INC., FOR THE EMERGENCY
PROCUREMENT OF A 3/4 TON, PICK-UP TRUCK
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, seiled bids were requested for the emergency
procurement of one 3/4 Ton, Pick -Up truck for the Public Works Department
and,
WHEREAS, the City received three bids and such bids were
opened by the City Manager at a public meeting held for that purpose, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has made recommendation to the City
Council that the bid of Marshall Berwick, Chevrolet, Inc., be accepted and
Council is desirous of accepting such recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE,COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Marshall Berwick Chevrolet, Inc.,
in the Amount of $4,825.21 attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference
is hereby accepted.

1. Bidder hereby agrees that base price shall remain in full
force and effect for a period of sixty (60) days after the -
time of opening of this Bid and that the Bidder will not
revoke or cancel this bid within the sixty (60) days.
2. The Bidder if successful, agrees to remit a.,. certified
check in the amount of five (5) per cent of the bid, which
shall be forfeited to the City in the event the Bidder, to
whom the business is awarded, shall fail or refuse to comply
with the specifications of the bid.
