CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 76 g#9
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE
OF SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT BOND GIVEN
BY TAMARAC PLAZA ASSOCIATES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Code, a Subdivision Improve-
ment Bond in the amount of $83,631.25, was executed by Tamarac
Plaza Associates, as principal, and United States Fidelity and
Guaranty Company of Maryland, as surety, and posted with the
City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, Tamarac Plaza Associates has submitted an Affidavit
and Certification as to the actual cost of said project, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the project and
recommended release of said bond and formal acceptance of such
improvements by the City, and
WHEREAS, Tamarac Plaza Associates has submitted to the
City a Substitute Warranty Bond in the amount of $15,331.00,
covering said project and representing 25% of the total actual
costs, as set forth in the Affidavit and Certification, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed and approved, as
to form, the Substitute Warranty Bond in the amount of $15,331.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC:
SECTION 1: That the Subdivision Improvement Bond for Tamarac
Plaza Associated in the amount of $83,631.25, is hereby released.
SECTION 2: That the Warranty Bond in the amount of $15,331.00
is hereby formally accepted, with an effective date of January 7, 1976.
