RESOLUTION NO. I(- -77 l00-
A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE SALE AND
DISTRIBUTION OF PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIALS
IN BROWARD COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
is deeply concerned about the increasing rise and availability
of pornographic literature and films.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council pledges its support to
the adoption of legislation by the Broward County Board of
Commissioners to prohibit the sale and distribution of pornographic
materials.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
transmit copies of this Resolution to the-Broward County Board of
Commissioners and the various municipalities in Broward County.
