CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. - 7 7- P O
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE UNSAFE
STRUCTURES BOARD OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC;
PROVIDING FOR POWERS AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, did
heretofore adopt the South Florida Building Code, Broward Edition with respect
to the rules and regulations governing the construction of all new buildings
and structures, both private and public and to all operations, additions and
repairs in any new or existing building or structure, both private and public,
and
WHEREAS, Section 202.13 of the South Florida Building Code, Broward
Edition, did create an Unsafe Structures Board, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac is desirous of
appointing members to said Board as contemplated by Section 202.13 (a) of said
South Florida Building Code, Broward Edition, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac is desirous of
providing for the powers and duties of said Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FUJRIDA:
SECTICN 1: The following persons are hereby designated and appointed
as members of the Unsafe Structures Board of the City of Tamarac, Florida, and
the same shall serve until their successors are duly appointed:
A. Irving Tepper
, a registered engineer,
whose current residence address is 8203 N . W . 92nd Avenue.
B. No appointment made at this date a registered architect,
of passage.

SECTION 2: TERMS OF OFFICE; ORGANIZATION OF THE BOARD: The terms of
office of the various members of the Unsafe Structures Board of the City of
Tamarac shall hold office and the Board shall be organized in the manner pro-
vided by Sections 202.13 (b) and (c) of the South Florida Building Code, Broward
Edition, respectively.
SECTION 3: POWERS; DUTIES: The powers and duties of the Unsafe
Structures Board of the City of Tamarac shall be as provided in Section 202.13 (d)
of the South Florida Building Code, Broward Edition, as same may be amended from
time to time.
SECTION 4: VOLUNTARY SERVICE: The members of the Unsafe Structures
Board of the City of Tamarac shall serve on a voluntary basis, without compensation.
SECTION 5: CONTFOLLING LAW: The Unsafe Structures Board of the City of
Tamarac shall continue to exist under and shall exercise its powers pursuant to
the provisions of Section 202.13 of the South Florida Building Code, Broward
Edition, as same may be amended from time to time.

SECTION 6: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
final passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this o? day of
