RESOLUTION NO. R- 77- // %
A RESOLUTION REVISING CERTAIN STRUCTUAL,
PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND VARIOUS OTHER FEE
PERMITS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 7 7-at) authorizes the City Council
to review the schedule of building permit and various other fees
required to be issued prior to initiation of construction,
development or other improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has recommended to the
City Council that a review of such fees should be made; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the recommendation
of the Chief Building Official.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the schedule of Structual, Plumbing, Electrical
and other various other fee permits, copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof is hereby adopted.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.

11. Seawall Bulkhead:
(a) Permit and construction inspection costs for the construction of
retaining walls and seawalls henceforth.shall be found in Ordinance
No. 74-45 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
as presently in force or as hereinafter may be amended; provided, however,
the fee schedule set forth.in said Ordinance shall apply to all construc-
tionwhether or not said construction'is incident to development of a
subdivision.

SECTION C: PERMIT FEE BASED'ON'COST'OF JOB.
1. That prior to initiation of construction, alteration or addition to private
property within the City -of Tamarac, the person, firm or corporation desir-
ous of performing said construction, alteration or addition, which does not
fall into any -of the above listed categories, or any categories contained.in
other ordinances, shall be required to obtain a permit from the Building
Department and upon the taking of such permit shall be required to pay a

SECTION E; In the.event of an emergency requiring immediate repairs,
a person or firm may proceed with such, repairs; provided however, an application
for the permit and the payment of appropriate fees are made during the first
succeeding business day of the city building department.
SECTION F: It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
fail to acquire a proper permit prior to the commencement of any construction,
alteration or repair, on or within private property, and such act is punishable
as provided in Section 1-6 of the Tamarac City Code.
