CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. R-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM
DEED TO BROWARD COUNTY FOR ROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the Broward County Engineering Department has
requested that the City of Tamarac convey additional roadway ease-
ments to Broward County, for improvements to Commercial Boulevard,
and
WHEREAS, in consideration for the City' s granting of the
necessary additional roadway easements, Broward County has offered
to install landscaping improvements on the City's property, as
reflected in the drawings titled "Planting- and Bus Stop Layout'.',
dated August 29, 1977, prepared by Douglas M. Ruth & Associates,
Consulting Architects to Broward County, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of granting the
additional road right-of-way easements, and approving the landscaping
plans submitted by the Broward County Engineering Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC:
SECTION 1: That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Tamarac

the Quit Claim Deed attached hereto as Exhibit A, and made a part
hereof by reference, conveying to Broward County certain easements
required for the road improvement project for Commercial Boulevard.
SECTION 2: That the landscaped plans titled "Planting and
Bus Stop Layout", dated August 29, 1977, prepared by Douglas M. Ruth
& Associates, Consulting Architects to Broward County, are hereby
approved.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage.

Dear Mr, Gross:
When we get the completed con tr. a ct with the consultants it wi l l
be possible to get the plans revised for the bus stop plus the
irrigation system for same. I do not see any great need or ad-
vantage of having the City convey the right of way to the County,
as long as the use we intend to put it to is in conformity with
the right of way dedication to the City,, •

BROWARD COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida,

"second party" shall include singular and plural , heirs,
legal representatives and assigns of individuals, and
the successors and assigns of corporations, wherever
the context so admits or requires.)
WITNESSETH , that in consideration of the landscaping of
certain City property as reflected in that drawing titled "Planting

structed at the expense and liability of the said second party, the
party of the first part does hereby remise, release and quit claim
