A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF
OCTOBER 2 THRU 8, 1977 AS 4-H WEEK
IN BROWARD COUNTY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE .
WHEREAS, the Council
of
the
City
of Tamarac, Florida
recognizes that the goal
of
4-H
is to
provide opportunities
for the youth of Florida in the areas of leadership, citizenship
and personal development, and
WHEREAS the City of Tamarac, Florida realizes the importance
of this Youth Development Program of the Florida Cooperative
Extension Service.
NOW, THERE FORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:
That
the City
Council of the City
of Tamarac,
Florida supports
the
execution
-of a Proclamation by
its Mayor
to designate the week of October 2 through 8,
Week in Broward County,
1977 as 4-H
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be effective immediately
upon its passage,
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this OqlL'Cday of 1977.
