CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. R=1 7-/6 9
A RESOLUTION CORRECTING THE METES AND
BOUNDS LEGAL DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN
RESOLUTION NO. R-77-104, WOODMONT HALF-
WAY HOUSE VACATION OF AN 8-FOOT UTILITY
EASEMENT, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council that the legal description in Resolution No. R-77-104
is incorrect, and
WHEREAS, those Utility Companies having an interest in
the said Utility Easement, have reviewed the corrected legal
description, therefore, and have agreed to the vacation of same,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to correct said legal
description to permit this project to be further processed and
completed by Broward County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby vacates said 8-foot
Utility Easement, being correctly described as follows:
A portion of Tract "K", of LAND SECTION 4 GOLF COURSE PLAT,
as recorded in Plat Book 88, Page 20, of the Public Records
of Broward County, Florida, lying in Section 4, Township 49
South, Range 41 East, being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the plat of WOODMONT
RECREATION COMPLEX, as recorded in Plat Book 91, Page 49,
of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida; thence
N 21000' 00" E, along the West line of said WOODMONT RECREATION
COMPLEX, a distance of 660.00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
thence continue N 21000100" E, along the last described course,
a distance of 40.00 feet; thence N 15034' 55" W, continuing along
said West line, a distance of 13.42 feet; thence S 21900'00" W,
a distance of 50.78 feet; thence S 69000'00" E, a distance of
8.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward. County; Florida.
Containing 363.11 square feet.
SECTION 2 : This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
