A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AND 12, 1977,
AS LIONS WHITE CANE DAY IN THE CITY
OF TAMARAC; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is aware of the many contributions made by The International
Association of Lions Clubs; and
WHEREAS,
the City
Council
of the City of Tamarac,
Florida,
is desirous of
proclaiming
Friday
and Saturday, November
11 and
12,
1977, as "Lions
White Cane
Day".
NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE
IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAP-ZARAC , FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida supports execution of a Mayoral Proclamation to designate
Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, 1977 as "Lions White Cane
Day" in Tamarac.
SECTION 2:
This Resolution shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage.
