A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT
FOR OVERHEAD AND UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC
UTILITY FACILITIES TO FLORIDA POWER
AND LIGHT,
WHEREAS, Florida Power and Light Company has requested
the City to convey an easement on Tract 75 Land Section 4 at
the City Park Property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to convey said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an easement for overhead and
underground electric utility facilities to Florida Power and
Light Company, which easement is attached hereto and made a
part hereof by reference as "Exhibit A".

The undersigned, owner (s) of the premises described below, in consideration of the
payment of $1.00 and other good and * valuable consideration, the adequacy and receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, grant and give to Florida Power & Light Company, its licensees, agents,
successors, and assigns, an easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of overhead
and underground electric utility facilities (including wires, poles, guys, cables, conduits and
appurtenant equipment) to be installed from time to time; with the right to reconstruct, improve
add to, enlarge, change the size of and remove such facilities or any of them, on the property
described as follows:
A portion of Fort Lauderdale Truck Farms Subdivision of Section 4, p Townshi 49
South, Range 41 East, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public Records
of Broward County, Florida, lying 5 feet on each side of the following described
centerline: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 4; thence N 000
12' 16"W, along the East line of said Section 4, a distance of 2666.7 fasts
thence S 8904 7' 44 "w, 65 feet to the Point of Beginning of the aforementioned
centerline; thence S 00012' 16 "E, a distance of 265.56 feet to Reference Point "A"**
thence continue S 04012116"E, 5 feet 'to the Point of Termination of the herein
described centerline.
Also together with a parcel lying 5 feet on each side of the following described
centerline: Beginning at the aforementioned Reference Point "A"; (OVER)
and, to the fullest extent the undersigned has the power to grant, if at all, over, along and under
the roads, streets or highways adjoining or through said property.
The following rights are also granted to allow any other person, firm or corporation to
attach wires to any facilities hereunder and lay cable and conduit within the right of way and to
operate the same for communications purposes; to ingress and egress to said pre' ises at all times;
to clear the land and keep it cleared of all trees, undergrowth or other obstructions within the
easement area; to trim and cut and keep trimmed and cut all dead, weak, leaning or dangerous
trees or limbs outside of the easement area which might interfere with or fall upon the lines or
systems of communications or power transmission or distribution.
