RESOLUTION NO. R- _ /
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MODIFICATION
AGREEMENT NO. 78-I-0700 002 VI TO AGREEMENT NO. 78-I-
0700 & 77-6-07, AS AMENDED CETA VI, BETWEEN THE BROWARD
MANPOWER COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, the Broward Manpower Council desires to engage the
City of Tamarac to serve the Broward Manpower Council as a sub -
grantee by carrying out employment opportunity activities and
services relating to a reduction in unemployment within the
structure of Title VI of the Comprehensive Employment and Training
Act; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac wishes to enter into said agree-
ment with the Broward Manpower Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby
authorized and instructed to enter into and execute on behalf of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, a modification agreement # 78-I-0700 002
VI to agreement no. 78-I-0700 & 77-6-07, as amended covering
administrative costs ranted for title VI PSE projects, co of

which is attached hereto as "EXHIBIT A".
SECTION 2: That this agreement is effective on June 1977
and shall remain in force until July 3 ,1 , ] 9 7 8.

013. Special Obligations As they Relate to the Program Funded by this Grant.
1. Project G-07 - Sidewalk Construction Project, as described in amendment
No. 77-6-07(i) has been withdrawn by request of the agent, agent being the
City -of Tamarac. This withdrawal is based on the agent's inability to im-
plement project on schedule and agents desire to relinquish responsible for
delinquent said project, cost of $76,163.60
2. Agent will strictly adhere to procedures governing the administration of
CETA administrative costsi�effective October 11, 1977, as stated in BETA
Field Memorandum #002-78, dated October 13, 1977.
014. This Modification, including the budget and occupational su;,y::3ry (where applicable)
and BETA Administrative Cost Sheet Form 64 (where ap licabl:-j are herewith in-
