CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTIO14 PROCLAIMING DECEMBER AS
"DECA-TREE MONTH" FOR THE NATIONAL
FOUNDATION MARCH OF DIMES IN THE CITY
OF TAMARAC; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Teen Action Program of the National Foundation -
March of Dimes, in conjunction with the Broward County High School
DECA Chapter, is conducting their annual fund-raising drive during
the month of December, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the excellent work

carried on by the March of Dimes through the years in the fight
against birth defects, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize the work of
the National Foundation - March of Dimes and the High School
DECA Chapters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, supports execution of a Mayoral Proclamation to designate
the month of December as "DECA-TREE MONTH" for the National
Foundation March of Dimes in Tamarac.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
