RESOLUTION NO. R-77-26
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR ONE (1) FIRE PUMPER
CLASS A. WITH ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.FOR THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore advertised for bids for One (1)
Fire Pumper Class A, with Associated Equipment for the Fire Department and
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of awarding the bid for One (1) Fire
Pumper Class A. with Associated Equipment to the lowest and best bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Bid of

ALSO PRESENT: Steve Krantz, Representing Ameri can LaFrance
Nancy Ci ummo stated that the purpose of this meeting was to open bids for
One Pumper, Class A 1,000 GPM Triple Combination w/Assoc. Equipment, for
the Fire Department as advertised .i n the Fort Lauderdale News.
One letter was received from Seagrave FWD Fire Apparatus, Tampa 2110- 7l St
Tampa, Fla.
This letter stated that the specifications were restrictive and favored only
American La France Co. They stated they were declining to respond to bid for
the Pumper.
The complete bid package will be given to the City 'Attorney, William Gemmil.l
for legal review., at which time further action will be determined.
