CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. R 11 34
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RELEASE OF A SURETY
PERFORMANCE - BOND * POSTED BY WOODLAND MEADOWS.
WHEREAS, a surety performance bond in the amount of $13,000.00 was
posted by Woodl and Meadows, a Florida Partnership, as pri nci pal , and Fidelity
and Deposit Company of Maryland, as surety, covering a median cut at the entrance
to this subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work performed and recom-
mends'Ao the City Council that this bond be released, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to release said bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Surety Performance Bond in the amount of $13,000.00
posted by the Woodland Meadows partnership, as principal, and Fidelity and Deposit
Company of Maryland, as surety, covering the median cut at the entrance to this
subdivision is hereby released.
SECTION 2 : Conditions: SUBJECT TO DEPOSIT WITH THE CITY OF A BOND
OR OTHER ACCEPTABLE WARRANTY IN THE AMOUNT OF 25% OF THE ACTUAL COSTS
OF THE PROJECT, TO BE HELD BY THE CITY FOR ONE (1) YEAR.
