RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR CITY COUNCIL
DISTRICT 1 AND 3.
WHEREAS, the General Election was held on March 8, 1977, wherein
the
Electorate
of
the City
of Tamarac was
to choose one
(1) candidate
for
the Office
of
Council
Representative
from District I,
one (1)
candidate for the Office of Council Representative from District III
and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the results
of the machine voting and the absentee ballots,
such results to the City Clerk of the City of
and
and has certified
Tamarac,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification from the
County Canvassing Board, and has presented her findings to the City
Council for a formal Certification and Declaration of the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC,FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following person is hereby certified to have
received the highest number of votes, and is hereby declared to have
been elected as Council Representative from District 1, for a term
of two (2) years.
Milt Klika with 23733 votes.'
SECTION 2: That the following person is hereby certified to
have received the highest number of votes, and is hereby declared to
have been elected as Council Representative from District III,
term of two (2) years.
