RESOLUTION NO. R - 77-6 1----
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY MANAGER TO TAKE ACTION NECESSARY TO
ACCEPT A FLORIDABOATING IMPROVEMENT GRANT
AND AGREEING TO THE PROJECT GUIDELINES,
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac that it would be in the best interest of its
citizens to
agree to
the project
guidelines in
order to accept
the Florida
Boating
Improvement
Program Grant
as a program being
administered by the Broward County Marine Advisory Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC , FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby autho-
rized and directed
to take whatever action is
necessary
to accept
the Florida Boating
Improvement Grant in the
amount of
approxi-
matey Twenty_
Three Thousand Eight Hundred ($2.3,800.00)
dollars.
SECTION 2.
That the City Council on behalf
of
the
local
government and the citizens of the City of Tamarac agrees that it
will comply with the project guidelines as established by the
Florida Boating Improvement Program and Broward County Marine
Advisory Committee.
