A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MONTH OF
MAY, 1977, AS SAFETY.MONTH IN THE CITY
OF' TTAMARAC* P'R0V 1D I'NG AN EFFEET I VE 'DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac
recognizes the importance of promoting municipal safety and
accident prevention within the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac
is desirous of supporting safety programs which will reduce job
related accidents and injuries, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
wishes to provide an environment free from recognized hazards
its employees and citizens.
NOW., THEREFORE,,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1:
In
the interest of
the general
safety
and health and welfare
of its
employees and
citizens, the
City
of Tamarac proclaims the month of May, 1977, as Safety Month.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
