A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN ALTERNATE
MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO SIGN CHECKS
DUE TO THE LEAVE OF ABSENCE OF THE VICE-
MAYO,R;' 'PR0VI'DING AN EFFECTIVE DATE .
WHEREAS, Vice -Mayor Helen Massaro has taken a
leave of absence from the City of Tamarac, Florida, and
WHEREAS, in her absence the City Council wishes
to appoint an alternate member of the City Council who shall thereby
be authorized to sign all checks in the absence of the Mayor for
the payment of money by the City for the period of time set by
the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best
interest of the City of Tamarac to make such appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
'S*E*CTION 1: That

is hereby granted authority to sign checks for the payment of*
money by the City of Tamarac until further notice by the City
Council. No other authority is hereby granted.
SE'C'T*ION 2: This Resolution becomes effective
immediately.

Signing of Checks
As per our conversation this morning the Resolution
77*4 passed by Council on April. 272 1977 is still suf ficient
and therefore Councilman Disraelly may sign checks in the
absence of the Vice -Mayor,
