CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.R-77-79
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCIL TO
APPOINT FIVE MEMBERS TO THE PUBLIC
INFORMATION COMMITTEE AND TO APPOINT ONE
ALTERNATE MEMBER AND ONE CONSULTANT TO
THE PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE: AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, City Council is desirous of appointing
five (5) members to the Public Information Committee, and
WHEREAS, three of the members should be from the
general public, and
WHEREAS, one of the members should be from the
Charter Board, and
WHEREAS, one of the members should be from the
City Council, and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to appoint two (2)
alternate members to the Public Information.,Committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Sidney Bass is hereby appointed a
member of the Public Information Committee for a term to expire
May 11, 1978.
SECTION 2: That Alfred C. Ostrum is hereby appointed
a member of the Public Information Committee for a term to expire
May 11, 1978.
SECTION 3 : That Marjorie E . Kelch is hereby appointed
a member of the Public Information Committee for a term to expire
May 11, 1978.
SECTION 4:
That Irving Disraelly is hereby appointed
an ex-officio member from the City Council
committee..
SECTION 5:
to the Public Information
That Virginia Taylor is hereby appointed
an ex -of ficio member from the Charter Board to the Public Information
Committee,

SECTION 6: That the alternate member designated
by the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Tamarac
shall serve for a period of one (1) year until May 11, 1978 and in
the absence or inability of any regular member of the said Public
Information Committee to serve, said alternate shall thereupon
serve in the place, of said regular member, -with all the powers and
duties as are vested in said regular member.
SECTION 7: That Herman Schulman is,hereby appointed
as an alternate member of the Public Information Committee of the
City of Tamarac.
SECTION 8:
That Paul Messina is hereby appointed as
a consultant for the Public Information Committee of the City of
Tamarac for a term to expire May 11, 1978.
SECTION 9: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 1977.
