CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUrIQN N0. R -
A RESOLUTION ALTIHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF
TO FLORIDA POWER AND LICf3T 001MPANY
WI�EREAS , Florida Power and Light has requested that the City of Tamarac
grant a utility easement along a portion of Tract 38--A, site of the Fire Station,
and
]REAS, the City Council wishes to grant said easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:
That the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized
to execute a utility easement to Florida, Power and Light Company, along a
portion of Tract 38-A, copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof .
Lands more particulaxly described as:
A portion of Section 5, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, of the
Florida Fruit Lands Company Subdivision No. 2, as recorded in Plat
Book 1, Page 102, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida
and being 5 feet on each side of a centerline described as follows:
Commence at the Southeast corner of said Section 5; thence N 0010' 05"W,
along the East line of said Section 5. a distance of 1712.12 feet; thence
S 89049' S5"W, a distance of 693.90 feet thence S 4701915517, a distance
of 5 feet to the Point of Beginning of the aforementioned centerline;
thence N 42o40' 051 V_,- a distance of 195 feet to�a Reference Poirot ,'A" ; thence
f ont inu 1051 W , a distance of 5 feet to the Point of Termination of

Also together with a parcel of land being 5 feet on each side of a
centerline described as follows: Beginning at the aforementioned -
Reference Point "All; thence S 47019' S5"w, a distance of 115 feet to a
Reference Point "B" ; thence continue S 47019' S5"W, a distance of 180
feet to the Point of Termination of the herein described centerline.
Also together with a parcel of land being 5 feet on each side of a
centerline described as follows: Beginning at the aforementioned
Reference Point "B" ; thence S 42040' 05t'E, a distance of 48 feet to
the Point of Termination of the herein described centerline.
Said lands situate in the City of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida.
SECTION 2 : This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
final passage.

and underground electric utility facilities (including wires, poles, guys, cables, conduits and
appurtenant equipment) to be installed from time to time; with the right to reconstruct, improve,
add to, enlarge, change the size of and remove such facilities or any of them, on the property
described as follows:
A portion of Section 5, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, of the Florida
Fruit Lands Company Subdivision No. 2, as recorded in Plat Book 1,
Page 102, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida and being
5 feet on each side of a centerline described as follows: Con=eAce at
the Southeast corner of said, Section 5; thence N 001010517, along the
East line of said Section 5, a. distance of 1712.12 feet.; thence S 89049' 55"
W, a distance of 693.90 feet; thence S 47019' 55"w, a distance of 5 feet
to the Point of Beginning of the aforementioned: centerline; thence

and, to the fullest extent the undersigned has the power to grant, if at all, over, along and under
the roads, streets or highways adjoining or through said property.
The following rights are also granted to allow any other person, firm or corporation to
attach wires to any facilities hereunder and lay cable and conduit within the right of way and to
operate the same for communications purposes; to ingress and egress to said premises at all times;
to clear the land and keep it cleared of all trees, undergrowth or other obstructions within the
easement area; to trim and cut- and keep trimmed and cut all dead, weak, leaning or dangerous_.
trees or limbs outside of the easement area which might interfere with or fall upon the lines or
systems of communications or power transmission or distribution.
