CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-:78-9
A RESOLUTION TO PLACE A REFERENDUM QUESTION
ON THE GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT REGARDING
THE PURCHASE OF ONE AERIAL LADDER -PLATFORM -
(QUINT) FIRE TRUCK.
WHEREAS, the City has received sealed bids for one (1)
Aerial Ladder -Platform (Quint) Fire Truck, and the City Council
has accepted and awarded a bid subject to the approval of such
expenditure by Tamarac electors at the General Election to be
held March 14, 1978, and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to instruct and
direct the City Clerk to place the question on the General
Election ballot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The referendum question to appear on the
March 14, 1978 General Election ballot shall be as follows:
"Shall the City of Tamarac expend $221,972.29
to purchase one (1) Aerial Ladder -Platform
(Quint) Fire Truck to be acquired through the
best financing arrangement available, and for
a term not to exceed five (5) years?
FOR THE PROPOSITION
AGAINST THE PROPOSITION
