CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. —
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE STATE ATTORNEY
FOR BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND ANY OF HIS
ASSISTANTS TO ACT AS CITY PROSECUTORS.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has a Resolution No. 78-92
designating the City Attorney's office to act as City Prosecutors,
and
WHEREAS, the Broward County State Attorney's office
has expressed the willingness to handle prosecutions for municipal
ordinance violations, and
WHEREAS, the Broward County State Attorney's office
will perform the function of City Prosecutor with due diligence and
competence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Broward County State Attorney and
his assistants are hereby designated by the City of Tamarac as
the City Prosecutors.
SECTION 2: That Resolution No. 78-92 designating the
Tamarac City Attorney's office as City Prosecutors is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall be effective
immediately.
