CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO MEMBERS TO THE CITIZENS
ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM; and PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac wishes to participate in the
Broward County Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, Federal requirements of Title I of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 requires citizen participation;
and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Citizen Participation Plan is:
1. To provide citizens with an adequate opportunity to par-
ticip.�ite i.n an advisory role in planning, implementing
and assessing the program.
2. To provide citizens with adequate and timely information so
as to enable them to be meaningfully involved in important
decisions at various stages of the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the following persons have been appointed
as members of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Community
Development Block Grant Program:
PHIL SOLOMON
RAY MUNITZ.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediat(
ly upon its adoption.
