CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.R-78-119
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A WAIVER OF THE CITY'S
SIGN ORDINANCE TO THE HOLLOWS OF WOODMONT.
WHEREAS, an application has been made by the Hollows of
Woodmont for a waiver of the City's sign ordinance for two entrance
signs, and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Chief Building Official
that a hardship would exist if this waiver is not granted, the Council)
desires to grant the relief provided by the City's sign ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to the terms of Section 21-15
of the Tamarac City Code, a waiver is granted to the Hollows of
Woodmont to erect two entrance signs, one to be located at Lot 1,
and the other at Lot 32 of Block 1, at the Northeast and Northwest
corners of Corkwood Terrace and N.W. 75th Street.
SECTION 2: The conditions of the granting of this waiver
are as follows:
1) The sign posts shall not exceed a height of six (6) inches
over the main body of the signs.
2) The overall height of the signs shall not exceed forty-two
(42) inches from ground level to the top of the sign posts.
3) The ground area of the signs shall be the same
level as the adjacent residential lots.
4) The signs shall be installed at the lowest possible level
so as not to obstruct visibility.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 29th
