RESOLUTION NO. R- 7P-/I-
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER,
1978 AS BROTHERHOOD MONTH IN THE CITY OF
TAMARAC; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
recognizes the need for people to endeavor to achieve complete
development of Brotherhood and understanding and regardless of
race, color, creed or ethnic background, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, Florida realizes that people
working together can provide a better way of life for themselves
and for people everywhere.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida supports the execution of a Proclamation by its Mayor
to designate the month of November, 1978 as City Brotherhood Month.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be effective immediately
upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of , 1978.
